University & Business: a relationship worth celebrating

By Shivaun Meehan, Head of Communications, National Centre for Universities and Business (NCUB)

SoR report blogWith the April submission deadline fast approaching, let's take another look at the 2019 State of the Relationship report, our flagship publication.

University and business partnerships are essential to the economy and in delivering the knowledge economy the UK needs. And of course, a knowledge economy needs knowledgeable people.

The National Centre for Universities and Business (NCUB) works with members, and stakeholders, to ensure businesses of any size can leverage and support the research and innovation capabilities of UK universities and that universities can deliver the skills that business requires in a changing landscape.

Our annual State of the Relationship report showcases the scale and breadth of UK university-business partnerships as well as evidencing emerging and critical trends. Examples of realising business potential, commercialisation, and the force for civic good in transferring knowledge outside of UK universities are worth celebrating, and bring to life their value to the UK economy.

The 2019 report is now open for submissions and this year will explore how the future is being built and developed by the changemakers within UK universities and business who are collaborating to build a post-Brexit UK which is innovative, sustainable and skilled.

If you would like your case study to be included, please get in touch at SoR@ncub.co.uk before the deadline on 12 April 2019. Team NUCB is ready to help you with your submission process.
