After nine years at the helm of the National Centre for Universities and Business, David Docherty will stand down as Chief Executive at the end of March 2018. He will continue as Strategic Advisor to the Council.
Chairman, Sam Laidlaw, said “David has made an immense contribution to university business collaboration across the UK. He drove the organisation from the Council for Industry for Higher Education think tank to today’s National Centre for Universities and Business – an organisation renowned for developing practical actions and tools to enhance collaboration between universities and business. I am delighted he will be staying on two days a week to continue to share his vision and passion, in particular for the Centre’s digital projects".
The search for David's successor as Chief Executive of the National Centre for Universities and Business will begin shortly.
