Falmouth University is the UK’s top university for the creative industries having been ranked the number one arts university in the Sunday Times University Guide, the Complete University Guide and The Guardian University league table.
For more than a hundred years Falmouth has been on a journey from School of Art to a modern creative innovation hub. Its success in the league tables has been built on a reputation for excellence established over decades. Today, it is Falmouth’s unique approach to Higher Education that sets it apart.
By responding to the growth of the creative industries, with a course portfolio that is flexible and aligned to the real world, Falmouth has increased student numbers by more than 30% in two years. It’s number one strategic objective for 2020 is to get its graduates great jobs and 97% of Falmouth alumni are in work or further study six months after they graduate.
Partnerships with Cornwall Council, the Local Enterprise Partnership, Chamber of Commerce, Devon and Cornwall Business Council and numerous other local businesses and partners from marine tech to e-health place Falmouth University at the heart of economic transformation and regeneration in Cornwall and the wider south west.
