Severn Trent Water

Severn Trent Water

Water is essential to life and to the communities in which we work. Our focus is delivering the best quality drinking water and returning waste water safely to the environment today, tomorrow and for the longer term.

Severn Trent was formed in 1974 as a regional, state-owned water authority based in Birmingham and responsible for water management and supply, and waste water treatment and disposal, in the catchment areas of two of Britain's largest rivers - the Severn and the Trent. It was from these rivers that we took our name.
