"Partnering with us today will drive business success tomorrow"
For more than 100 years, Chicago Booth has been a leader and innovator in the field of business research and education. Many of Chicago Booth’s current innovations are directly related to its close ties with the leaders of some of the world’s most respected corporations. This grounding in the real world has helped Chicago Booth maintain its reputation as one of the world’s leading centers of business education and research. Known for enduring contributions to the field of business as researchers and consultants, Chicago Booth’s faculty is also noted as some of the world’s best business teachers. Indeed we were the first business school to have a Nobel Laureate and we have a total of 7 Nobel Prize-winning faculty members.
Recent rankings confirm its commitment to excellence and innovation. The Economist has ranked our Full-Time MBA Program first globally for the last few years (2012-2014). The Executive MBA is also consistently in the top 10 across the rankings. Chicago Booth’s Executive Education open enrolment programs also perform highly having been ranked at number five in the world by the Financial Times (2015).
Chicago Booth offers seven full and part time programs leading to the MBA degree. In addition, we offers a PhD program, open enrolment Executive Education seminars, and custom programs tailored to the needs of individual companies. The School operates two campuses in Chicago, one in London, and one in Hong Kong. There is also an executive education presence in Singapore. Chicago Booth’s reputation, commitment to academic research, and high quality faculty offer a prestige that few can match.
Chicago Booth Executive Education creates open enrolment and custom programs with cutting-edge content, taught by world-class faculty in state-of-the-art facilities. The “Chicago Approach” to business education (see below) meshes a firm grounding in academic disciplines and hands-on business problem solving. Participants in our seminars leave with career-enhancing knowledge that influences future ways of doing business. Chicago Booth serves as a vital part of one of the world’s great research and teaching universities, ensuring that our Executive Education curriculum is at the forefront of business practice. This results in the latest research and consulting experiences being quickly infused into our seminars, giving participants and businesses a competitive advantage. Through deep thinking and high impact results, Chicago Booth writes the rules that business follows. Partnering with us today will drive business success tomorrow!
The Chicago Approach encompasses four key elements:
- Discipline-based knowledge is a powerful tool for understanding how organizations function and how markets work.
- Empirical evidence (real-world data) is important for building discipline-based knowledge.
- Good decisions are backed by good analysis.
- Effective business practices stem from fundamental principles, not fads.
Higher education and business collaboration must move beyond the model of one-way knowledge transfer and more towards joint knowledge creation.
