Talent Academies offer a unique approach to developing students’ employability.
The University of Leicester puts a great deal of time and energy into the employability of our students. So much so, that we’ve even set up our own recruitment agency.
Skills awards provide students with a framework to recognise, develop and articulate valuable employability skills gained through their extra-curricular and co-curricular activities such as volunteering, leadership positions on student groups and part-time work.
Providing UK employers with a talent pipeline is one of our key focuses at the University of Leicester. We go to incredible lengths to help our students gain the real-world employability skills they need and that businesses will benefit from.
Being enterprising is about more than starting a business venture; it’s about developing a range of skills, attitudes and behaviours which enable an individual to develop and grow an existing business, design an enterprising organisation or set up a new business of their own.
